Caring for our fields:
NYL is a steward of our city's fields and as such depends on all NYL participants and visitors to treat them with care, this means being 100% respectful of weather-related closures as well as adhering to our trash policy. All of the Newton fields are carry-in/carry-out, meaning that every visitor and player are responsible for removing all trash from the fields. In addition, sports drinks are not allowed on the high school turf fields, and dogs are not allowed on any playing field.
Our fields are public spaces, thank you for helping us care for them.
