Learn to Lax is a FREE introduction to boys lacrosse for those looking to learn the sport in a safe, fun environment.  We will offer small group introductory coaching from experienced coaches that include former high school and college players.  These new players will be introduced to lacrosse and learn some of the basics, including throwing, catching, and ground balls that will start to build confidence with the intent of leading your child into the upcoming season (their first).

Fall Ball 2019 - Box

We are pleased to announce a 2019 Fall Ball offering for grades 3rd - 6th via Mass Box Lacrosse at the brand new indoor facility in Wellesley on Route 9.  Registration will be through Mass Box Lax link (details below).  Registration is limited to the first 40 players per level so please do not wait.

Newton Lacrosse Boys Indoor Box - Fall 2019

Newton Youth Lacrosse will offer indoor box lacrosse at Boston Sports Institute for U11 (3rd/4th grade) and U13 (5th/6th grade) boys to introduce them to Box Lacrosse.  These sessions will include an up-tempo training environment with Box-Style Scrimmages where kids will be introduced to box lacrosse - small team format, working in tight spaces and creative shot making.  Short sticks only but defensemen are welcome and encouraged to join.  Defensemen will gain significant experience in positioning, which translates very well to the outdoor "field" lacrosse game.

Coach Adam Pascal will lead these sessions at BSI, 900 Worcester Rd, Wellesley - a NEW state of the art turf field.  Coach Pascal has coaching experience at the youth, high school and collegiate level.  Pascal is concentrating his coaching efforts in bringing Box Lacrosse to the metro west area in this new facility.

Who: Returning NYL players or new to Newton but have played organized lax for another town program (MBYLL # is required for registration)

When: 1 hour sessions will be held on Sundays, U11 4 - 5 pm and U13 5 - 6 pm.
